Hello,

My winch broke in half after using it to drag myself out of the mud.

I asked my dealer, because how is it even possible to break the winch, when the wire SHOULD snap before it breaks, or atleast a fuse.
they denied that i should get an replacement, rather i should buy a new one.

has anybody else bumped on to this problem?

See you have rope not wire, so is the dealer saying it is not warrantied because you have modified it?

Bought the rope at the dealer, did not ask if the warranty went away because of it.

If dealer don't want to help with this. Just contact to who import it. Winch is not a weak point = Front bumper is too weak.
Factory knows that is a problem. They are already upgrading it.
