Hard shifting gears

3413 Views 10 Replies 9 Participants Last post by  regeinac
I have bought Fugelman, and have less than 150km

Everything is great, apart from the gearbox.

I have a problem when shifting gears. Sometimes it goes smoothly(less than 5%) but in 95% it is very hard almost impossible to switch or choose gear.

Also idle throttle is very high RPM, especially when going to reverse.

VERRY DIFFICULT ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO OPERATE.

Hope it will be solved on 1st service(300km)

Anyone having same issues?

Hey @nprica and welcome to the forum! When it does happen to you what do you you do to make it shift gears? Maybe something got inside and is making things difficult.
It happens every time i need to shift gears. When i start the machine, when i want to manouver. It is very hard to manipulate the stick. Sometimes it is ok, but as i said less than 5%. Majority of situations it is very hard to shift almost impossible to get it in the right gear(reverse to high for example).

Hope it can be solved on the initial 1st service.

Just brought our Fugleman home tonight, I'm hoping the hard shifting will get better as it gets broken in. I have noticed when it gets stuck, if I tap the gas or release the brake (if it'll roll slightly) then it will all of a sudden shift very easily.

thotofyu's suggestion is working for me.
Hi I have have exacly the same problem. New Fugleman and very very hard to change gear (almost every time…) 😕 Regards Allan Wind Denmark
Today i took it to the dealer.
1. Sometimes it is easy to shift gears, sometimes almost impossible. Very unpleasent when riding in forest or mountain.
2. When first start, in order to get the fugleman going, H, L, R gear, i must throttle up to 5k and only then clutch engages. Very difficult when unloading from trailer.

I think it is the primary clutch issue. Hope they will solve it. It is under warranty.

I have had the same problem. I changed springs and still not much better. Blew it up at 99 miles. Now it leaks coolant. I’m done.

I just purchased one and called him to the shop that I purchased it from right now out of Chandler Arizona and told them the exact same thing it is nearly impossible to shift in the Emmy gear and there’s a bunch of other things that are wrong paying $20,000 for this vehicle at the end of it is absolutely ridiculous for this to happen
