My 4 month old es2 started off with a error code 21 this morning when I powered it up. It said something about the battery communication but I have no idea what to do. It does roll at a snail's pace. But it's just constant beeping with the 21 on the display. Any help?

I have the same error code. I purchased the es4 scooter with this code. I removed external battery, still error code. I reset it three times. I also took it apart and made sure all connections were good. I disconnected all conections and reconnected them. The internal battery when you take it out is blinking blue which leads me to believe that is good. The controller board maybe the problem.
My question is if I order one from Amazon, can I just plug it in and everything will work?

It means the scooter is having an issue talking talking to the internal or external battery BMS in which case it limits power… If it’s the internal battery I believe it limits power further whereas when the issue is with the external battery it acts as if it’s a scooter with no external battery…
